this is a 2019 post im sure the return of them is gonna have a tons of change in 2020 but i thought why not think of woodlegs coming into dst and thinking of his perks. so lets get into it.
*expertises seafaring*: a pirates life is easier on the ocean and fun. he should have 25% faster anchor interaction, auto heave! ho! interaction and auto row by just holding the row button.
he should have extra craftables that he can only make if he is standing near the seafaring tab such as:
crowsnest, allowing you to have increased map detection and FOV(field of view) if being on it and needs to be attached on a sail that can be climbed on.
Bigger boat, at a more recipe costing but worth the usage.
Cannon, wich needs gunpowder and deals 250 damage that can be rotated to aim and can destroy everything in its path if used behind any structure or used against something like salt formations and/or boulders/trees/etc.
life jacket, crafted with 8 silk and 2 ropes it should save you from drowning and you should have only 50 wetness rather the 100 you would get drowning normally.
*is a smart hunter*: a pirate can track down the most hidden things. this should mean that woodlegs needs less footprints to search and higher accuracy of footprints to find a koalefant/varg/ewecus (75% for koalefant,12,5 varg and 12.5% ewecus). this should only be applied if woodlegs starts the hunt and stops if another player besides woodlegs investigates the next footprint.
*a taste for ocean*: he should only get 25% hunger and no sanity/health positive gains from veggies/fruits meals plus the ones from crockpots. 50% less hunger/sanity/health positive gains from meat foods and their crockpot dishes.but 50% more stats gain from dishes made per fish/fish like recipes. such as fishsticks,sea food gumbo. california rolls, surf 'n' turf, fish cordon bleu.
for my conclusion this is a well *balanced* character to be added into dst. you hunt for meat but have hunger problem for meat and veggie/fruit therfore you have great seafaring stuff and fish might be a good source of food espacilly if it comes winter say.
