Alright so recently I have been having some good luck and some bad luck with multiplayer it can be super laggy even though I only got 13 mods on. And recently people have been stealing my stuff then leaving with all my items! I don't understand why they do this even though I was being super nice... It's very upsetting finding out someone was stealing and poofed away with all your stuff..

Want Hamlet Togther!!!
Your game is good and my friends are enjoying the version, and we also like the new version Return of Them( at least see new map and the boat things). But you know, we want to play Hamlet or Shipwreck Togther. I'm struggle and confused why you only make the standalone version for the new feature, Hamlet, Shipwreck. I'm jealous and just don't understand why it's only for standalone. You should focus on the Togther version more from now on. You've did so much on standalone Don't Starve, just think more about the Togther version.

probebly when you want to suggest dst to someone. you say its a very hard and challenging game. you keep dying and stuff. but is it? (vsauce theme played )
i mean game is hard for begginers because of lack of knowledge. when you spend some time and surfing on wiki. its done.i know some of bosses are a lillte tricky. but isn't the main purpose of game is to be a survival game? you have absolutely no struggle staying alive. like if you find yourself somewhere in corner of the map widout food. the nearest food have only 30 sec distance with you. you never desperately looking for food or any resource. you never feel you are helpless in middle of the forest/desert. just think about darkest dungeon (which i think klei help make that game or something ). or the long dark . (sorry i dont know if im allowed to mention other games or not. feel free to edit it)
i know this is now what game is and you cant just change the whole gameplay. im just thinking if you make a bigger map with a little more limited and separated resources but more spoilage time (so when you ran out of resources you are actually in truble). and make a system like fertile soil so you cant have anything anywhere. it make game a little more survival.

Hello everyone, I decided to show some suggestions here, because I heard so many people saying that Klei likes to see our ideas, and I was thinking about the promise of reworks in the characters and how it cannot be possible because a motive that we don't know so well, but it's understandable, so let go:
Wendy is a really nice character's at first sight, but her powers could be more used, explored and increased, lets be honest, Abigail is such a suicidal, so a mecanic like Maxwell's shadows duelists would be better than a mad ghost with everything. Would be really cool if Wendy could put Nightmare Fuel in Abigail to make her stronger, like a level system on her, Nightmare Fuel upgrades Abigail's level and she would become better with more resistance and power
* Abigail you're already dead, stop being such a suicidal
* Abigail could be improve with Nightmare Fuel
(These changes are focused on Wendy's late game, usually after day 200 Abigail dies easily for hounds waves, it's hard to fit Wendy into a unique spot in the game, since her quality is to have Abigail and with her kill and farm things like spiders or frogs, but this can be overshadowed by Winona's catapults)
Now we have a serious problem, Woodie is such a fun character but the only thing that he is good in the game is completely obfuscated by Maxwell's shadow logger who can do Woodie's work way better, so lets think in something that would make our lumberjack gets more highlight in the game.
* Woodie could throw Lucy as an equal boomerang like he does at The Forge would be amazing
* Change all Werebeaver system, Beaverness could be a timer to Woodie become normal again
* Eating 4 logs makes Woodie turns into the Werebeaver, the time begins to tick and when reaches 0 he become Woodie again with a penalty on his sanity
* A little buff at the Werebeaver damage please
(These changes would put Woodie in a unique and good spot at the game, cause he would become a good lumberjack and at the same time a good agressive beast, with a better system to control his transformation giving more emphasis to his cost of sanity)

For performance, don't overpopulate moles with cave-ins.
Lots of moles in a small area causes a noticeable performance loss. Currently earthquakes drop moles randomly, making cave bases inevitably lag from mole overpopulation. A possible solution would be to make earthquakes only drop moles if there isn't an existing mole or burrow within a range of ~30.

DST not saving
Heyo,
So here's my issue. I had been playing, got around 40h or so and I was loving the game. Last week I went to log in with a couple friends and a bunch of issues stood out.
1) Whenever I delete a server and start a new one, to then disconnect (after at least two in game days) our progress will not only not save, the new server itself will not appear, and the previously deleted one pops up again.
2) When another person connects, the texture in-game gets messed up. They will spawn in the water, for example. I will attach a file to see what I mean.
3) The game will tell whomever connects to the server that there are issues with the mods, and not show up parts of the texture, and they won't be able to move. This issue has persisted even disabling the mods, or restarting the game without them.
We really love the game and would absolutely like to continue playing, so can somebody please rescue us?
I don't know if I'm posting this in the correct part of the forum, I just don't know how to handle it.

I think there should be an item that can be dug up which is clay which can be used for multiple items from creating pots to creating walls and such and having the ability to trade the pots to pig king for either another trinket or just gold and a way to get it is to find specific dirt piles just like sand in dont starve shipwrecked and it kinda fits since...klei...is similar to clay...
And also using the potters wheel for the pots and such since...potters wheel...pots you get the idea

server list filters
I'm sure someone has mentioned this before, but is there any chance of adding a main language filter to the servers? I hate when half the list of servers visible to me is in chinese, korean or russian. It's great that they exist but I can't really communicate with players in them so can we have an option to select for a preferred language as a filter, so that of the 40 servers shown, I can actually play on all 40, and not on only the first 10? If trying to play in a different language, also easier to find the right servers with a language filter.
New character, mobs and entire new island update
So, to make it clear, everyone can suggest what they want to change in it, but let's head up to my topic. I want this only to dst, because this would be more fun with friends. In Constant, we got only one island called the 'lunar island'. I suggest another idea, for late-game one island, just when you defeat fuelweaver there would be sth new on island. You might at this point be annoyed, 'cause i still didn't tell about island, but be patient, i'll say it now. Why don't we have underwater biome? Like fuelweaver could drop item, that kinda let us breath underwater, but only for some time, before we drown. Also with this idea there comes the mechanic, that characters can swim, but only close to the island they can swoim as long as they want, if you are like 5 'blocks' away from any island, you will have 5 seconds to swim until you die from drowning. The new character is as you didn't suspect the diver, but the undead, the first unlockable character, that you must find underwater and revive with new mobs drops the sea heart. It could breath underwater as many time as it wants, but it need to kill any animal close to him, because not attacking will drop his sanity, and when this comes to 15- it attack itself, his hunger drops 30% faster than other characters and the weggies doesn't affect on his hunger, only on his HP. Racist pigs and bunnymen doesn't like him just like Webber and Wortox. He also needs to be wet all the time, because if don't it will slowly loose HP. As for mobs, holy moly how much ideas i have. For the pigs replacement i'd give some merm-like creature, but peaceful to the players untill they will attack one. They couldn't swim out to the surface, because they are Waters creatures, but you could bring them up to surface with fishing rod if they were close to the place you went to the surface, but then they will turn into normal merms and will attack you. Turtles would be peaceful too, like the cat from birchnut forest, but underwater, for trinkets they would give some sea trinkets which you can trade for big amount od gold to pig king, for the worser info, they would be very far away, and coming as any character other than undead would cause death. There would be new Boss too. Eeliathan (mix up eel with leviathan), just like dragonfly, it would swim randomly and slowly, but coming close to it would trigger him. He would have three phases, on each underwater and surface. Underwater fight would be more simple and easy, but Boss would damage more, you will need to care about oxygen, because when Boss hit you, you loose some of it and you can say goodbye to very much piece of your HP, because you are wet all the time (the Boss gives eletric hits). 1st phase underwater would be just trying-to-hit-player type fighting, the second phase is making underwater tornados, which pull players into itself dealing some damage, the best tactic is just swiming a bit away. The third phase is very long-distance attacks with his tail and sometimes fake his attacks and second after hit the player with his tail. On the surface fighting is way more complicated, just like in shipwrecked like most bosses he make a lot of waves around him, slowing down the boat, so dodging would be harder, also when we talk about surface, you can't go to aby island, because the Boss will go away, you will need to fight him on a boat, which Has HP, the second phase is when he is struck by lightning and Has even more powerful ranged attacks, where he aims, it also would spread a bit and hit you if you are in the Water you will get hurt a bit more. The third phase,the hardest it when he powerfuly hits the Water with his tail, hides in the water and try to sneak attack the player, when he's going into his trap (because the Boss head will go the other way the waves from hitting goes, Just like big V). He also spams with lightnings too, but for that you can wear eyebrella unlikely to underwater. He would drop some rare item to make sea heart and unlock the undead. You could make a lot of mysterious civilization easter eggs klei. See ya!
Make Warly's Chili Powder Additive, Not Multiplicative
Warly's chili buff grants 20% bonus damage, which stacks multiplicatively with all other existing character damage modifiers. Because it scales multiplicatively, the effect is vastly more powerful on characters who already have high damage (Wolfgang, Wigfrid) and weaker on characters with low damage (Wendy, Wes).
Wendy/Wes' bonus with chili powder: 0.75 x 1.2 damage = 0.9x damage (a 15% increase)
Normal characters' bonus with chili powder: 1.2x damage (a 20% increase)
Wigfrid's bonus with chili powder: 1.25 x 1.2 = 1.5x damage (a 25% increase)
Wolfgang's bonus with chili powder: 2 x 1.2 = 2.4x damage (a 40% increase)
I like damage buffs, but the way that the math on this one works, it is widening the already-considerable power gap between high- and low-tier characters. In any case where chili powder needs to be rationed, it is always going to be most efficient to give it to the party Wolfgangs and Wigfrids. This doesn't bother me so much in the case of Volt Goat Chaud-Froid, as the Chaud-Froid is a very expensive recipe that will not be used by anybody in most fights. But I think chili powder is in kind of an awkward spot where it will be common enough to be used regularly, but also rare enough that it will have to be denied to the characters who don't benefit as much from it, which is going to feel like being snubbed from the cool kids' club.
There is a very simple way to fix this, however--make the chili buff stack additively with character damage modifiers instead of multiplicatively. This would mean it increases Wendy/Wes' modifier from 0.75 to 0.95, normal characters' from 1 to 1.2, Wigfrid's from 1.25 to 1.45, and Wolfgang's from 2 to 2.2--an equal 20% increase for everybody. No matter who takes the chili powder, they will be guaranteed an extra 13.6 damage on each swing of their Dark Sword beyond whatever they'd normally get--instead of Wolfgang getting an extra 27.2 while Wendy gets only 10.2. Now anyone can take the chili powder, without stigma or guilt about hurting the party's collective DPS output.
If anyone's worried that this would completely ruin Wolfgang's hilarious ability to run Misery Toadstool into the ground with blowdarts and Spicy Volt Goat Chaud-Froid, don't panic. He'd still do 550 damage per dart with that strat (as opposed to the 600 per dart that he gets currently).

Hey I logged of a twitch stream for about an hour after watching it for 4.4 hours, but now ive been watching it for another 45 minutes and it is still stuck on 4.4 hours. Can i possibly fix this and if so, how?
Add the Steamed Ham Sandwich from Hamlet
Klei should add the Steamed Ham Sandwich to Don't Starve Together, the meme is too great.
Reasons:
1. It needs foliage as one of the recipes to make it, right now foliage in the game doesn't have that much uses, you can make a potted ferns and eat them, i feel like adding them to recipes would make them more useful.
2. Asparagus is already in the game from the new Warly update and that originates from Hamlet.
3. Two Hamlet food items made it to Don't Starve Together as well, the Vegetable Stinger and the Asparagus soup, so why not add a third Hamlet food item?
4. The recipe is all vanilla items, no fancy Hamlet items required to make it.(recipe at the bottom)
5. It is a great hunger and health item, only healing 40hp and filling 37.5 hunger and 15 sanity.
6. Ferns are not easily renewable until late game, the only way to get more is via the Forest stalker and tumbleweeds. So it balances the recipe out even more.
7. It's based off of the Steamed Hams Simpsons meme, just like the potato cup trinket was a meme and so Klei decided to add it in the game as a trinket. In Dst we LOVE our memes, it makes the game even more fun that way.

Warly should be able to eat event treats (Winter's Feast, etc.)
I tried Warly today in a world with the Winter's Feast event active. And while his quotes suggest that he very much enjoys the Winter's Feast foods and would like to eat them, he refuses to eat them because they didn't come out of a crock pot. I don't think it's a bug, just an oversight, or I'd put it in the bug tracker.
New Screen for Friendly Scarecrow
Being able to lock onto toadstools sporecaps when using a controller
Heads up ps4 player here. On the ps4 I've noticed it's very hard to target toadstools trees when fighting him.
If a tree happens to be inside the boss or a spore cloud it's very difficult to target with a fire staff/whether pain.
I'm just suggesting that toadstools trees be treated as targets that can be locked onto with L3.
