mochila Estragada

  Olá KLEI, eu adoraria se vocês removessem do DST as mochilas estragadas. Eu não posso ter uma skin de mochila bonita e deixa-la no chão, isso faz com que eu tenha que andar com ela 100% no jogo porque se largar ela irá estragar e ficar com uma aparência horrível.
Vocês deveriam adicionar uma opção de não estragar as mochilas na opção de gerar o mapa ou simplesmente remover, esse jogo é para jogar com amigos certo!? Então se nossos amigos não vão nos respeitar basta não jogar com eles.

  Essa coisa de estragar as bolças foi a única coisa que odiei no Dont Starve Together, não faz sentido ter um item bonito e não poder usar sem ter que se preocupar se ele irá ficar podre ou não.

I was thinking of small trailers like the Oxygen Not Included where they show characters doing a "good idea/Bad idea" type of scenario. Along the lines of Animaniacs or those old Goofy shorts. I image them being 50 seconds long but just a idea to throw out there.

Bundle wrap inside materials

Would be perfect if we can what’s inside a bundle wrap instead of opening a bunch to look for the on we wanted, I put sighn  next to them but sometimes i grab some of them and get them mixed and dont know which one is food and which one is weapon, it takes a while to open and bundle em again and costs lots of grass as well.

Suggestions for DST Tweaks

Hey, Vsauce. Micheal here. ahah, no. Hi, it's me, complete-and-utter-stranger! This is a thread for Suggestions and Tweaks for DST. Please notify me if this doesnt belong, as this is my first post.

-When server max players is set to 1 or 1 player is online, the default pause menu should be given. 

-Ancient Guardian should be renewable in some way, as in DST right now its kinda pointless. Someone could eat the horn or the Houndius Shootius could just die.

-Full moon isnt that useful as far as I know. I know the following things happen: Chester can turn form, pigs turn into werepigs, glommer spawns, moonfrozen hounds and werepigs come down from their pedastals, Star-Callers Staff can become Moon-Callers Staff or something, and a few other things. Still, it doesnt feel like enough.

-I think the critters should have more use to them. Like, maybe kittykit provides a +6.25/min aura for Wicketbottom, +4.25 for other characters,  vargling can dig up gems every 10-30 days, ewelet grants 1 steel wool when brushed, broodling provides light during night, and glomglom makes glommer goop (at a very slow rate, Maybe every 20 days or on a full moon makes 2-3.)

-lastly, I think winona's trusty tape could be used on anything with a durability. I mean, COME ON, my base is littered with 1-10 durability dark swords! lets get rid of em, eh?!

-Maybe more chess pieces? I'd like to see a king/queen duo. King has around 3k hp, queen 4k. when one is killed the remaining royalty becomes enraged. gains 300 hp. attacks do 35 damage, with a 10 damage buff if enraged. Moves a little faster than the player, player is faster with cane. When enraged, fast as player with walking cane on a road.They should drop 3-6 gears, A green gem (50% chance) and 3 gold. I think a pawn would be cool, maybe 200-300 hp and does 20 dmg on hit, and leaps at the player. a little faster than a spider, with a spider warrior leap. drops 0-1 gears, an electrical doodad (just 2 gold in ds/sw) and a 20% to drop a blueprint (to make them more abundant)

Anyways, those were my tweaks and suggestions for dst. this took me about half an hour. Leave your suggestions in the comments below, maybe?

The Bumbrella

I was drinking a Gatorade TM (not a sponsor) and I had possibly the most innovative thought in human history: the bumbrella. I'm not too picky on what it would do, but that's just a perfect name. I guess the Bee Queen would drop a blueprint and you could make it from stingers, honey, and honey combs. It would work like a regular umbrella, but would let you run faster, and cause bees to give you respect (which is to say not attack you). IDK, I just thought a bumbrella was a good idea.

Crazy/Dumb idea on how to bring Walani into DST.

So I was thinking that if Klei ever does bring the Shipwrecked characters into DST, there wouldn't be much bringing Walani in as most of her personality revolves around surfing.

But then I thought, what if...

Structure placement could use some love.

If something has no good reason to block you from placing a structure, I don't think it should block you from doing so

For example, Abigail used to block placement in dst, and it made building as Wendy infuriating. (thanks for fixing that!)

 

Let's do that, but with a bunch of other things that get in the way and have no reason to block you.

*Mobs which don't collide with structures: (Butterflies, Birds, Bees, Tentacles, Glommer, etc.)

*Followers: (Chester, Hutch, Mandrakes, Domesticated Beefalo(?) etc.)

*Items on the ground: (Seeds, Flint, Rot, etc.) those don't have any business blocking you either.

 

While on the topic of improving building, I'd also like to address this:

You can place Ice Boxes right next to Crock Pots,  but you can't place Crock Pots the same distance from Ice Boxes.

There's a similar issue with Chests and Alchemy Engines/Shadow Manipulators. or any two structures with conflicting placement mechanics.

Craftable Glommer Statue

Hi! I think it would be cool if you could craft Glommer’s Statue one Don’t Starve Together.

Prerequisites:

•Requires Shadow Manipulator

•Requires Blueprint

Crafting Ingredients:

1 Glommer’s Wings

5 Glommer’s Goop

15 Marble

 

Simce the blueprint for the Old Bell is not present in Don’t Starve Together, the blueprint for Glommer’s Statue would drop when the original Statue is hammered.

 

Wigfrid Food Suggestion.

Some emotes have randomized animations, I think it would be nice if there was an option to add a number to the end of a command to force a specific animation.

/sit1 /sit2

/wave1 /wave2 /wave3

you get the idea.

Hello 

I played with my friends on 1 server and we come to day 20 and we left.

But now every my friend can join server but i cant please can someone help me

select all button for mods

I really want to be able to just "select all" from the mods tab when creating a new server (and just unselect the ones i don't need). When you have only one or two mods its okay but when you get up to 70 and having to tick them all, it becomes cumbersome and we don't always play the same map (like to change it up when we have forgotten where everything is)

Insulated Pack Quality of Life Rework

The existing insulated pack feels quite punishing to use considering its expense and being sourced from a boss.  It's even flammable.  The Hibearnation Vest is much better by my estimation. Similarly, the quality of other boss items such as the Eyebrella makes it clear the pack isn't very good for the utility and prestige a boss item should have.  Yet I love the idea behind it!

I suggest a small rework of the insulated pack to make it as desirable as the other boss' items.  Make it a smaller 4 slot pouch instead of its own pack which opens and docks to a bag when an Insulated Pouch is present in your inventory.  This behavior of docking/switching which pouch is open is controlled via right clicking a pouch which shows its contents and docks them to an existing bag for ease of access.  It otherwise works exactly as in the present, just smaller.

Alternatively if a player has a pouch but no pack, the pouches can be opened individually like extremely expensive bundling wrap sized container to prevent items being trapped inside, with a "Close" button replacing the "Wrap" button. Food items/ice/thermal stones continue to be affected as always--thus not meddling with Bundling Wrap's hugely desirable preservative properties and setting this apart as its own somewhat different storage item.

And that is the entire suggestion.  I would love to see such a version of the Insulated "Pouch" in the game and hope you consider it.

Server not responding when client leaving the cave (in same lan)

My roommate and I play dst in same lan.

I hosted server with cave.

My roommate can enter the cave. Howerver, when he want to leave the cave, showed "Server not responding" and disconnected to host.

If My roommate try to enter my server with his own network(tethering from phone), can leave and enter the cave smoothly.

Anyone know is there anything can solve this(network related setting?)


Piggsbury’s ugly beard

Personally, the fact that the piggsbury mask beard is infront of  the snout instead of behind bothers me quite a bit. Now, I’m not 100% sure on how the character models work, so I’m not sure if it’s an impossibility or not, but would it be all possible to give the snout it’s own layer above the beard? It’d take a bit of work, but you’d probably not have to change the face if it’s directly on top of the pre existing one.Then again, im clueless when it comes to this, so I don’t know

Make Maxwell's shadow puppets perform the other dances too

Maxwell seems to have learned a few new moves, but his backup dancers shadow puppets haven't. When using one of the new dance emotes the puppets just come and do the normal dance. It would be nice to see them do the same dance as Maxwell.

Critters suggestions.

So! I was thinking about the critters (The ones that you adopt at the rock dens.) and I figured, they should do something other than eat your food, here’s a breakdown of how I think it should go:

•Glomglom: Gives off a small sanity boost (maybe something like +3/min) and would produce Glommer’s goop periodically, but not as often as Glommer.

•Kittykit: Like Catcoon, it should periodically give gifts, but again, not as often.

•Vargling: Fights doing 5 Damage each time, it wouldn’t die, but it would get “knocked out” where then it whimpers and runs back to the player and must be fed before it fights again. It would have 300 health.

•Ewelet: Periodically produces phlegm, and can be shaved for steel wool.

•Giblet: Would need to be fed more often than other critters but could be shaved for Yellow and Red feathers.

•Broodling: Could be shaved every 20 Days for Scales, and food could be cooked over it.

If you have any more suggestions, don’t hesitate to comment! I figured it would be cool if the critters had more uses, so they would be more interactive to the game!

New critters and what they do!

Hiya! So, when I was doing my other critters post, I had a great idea! MORE CRITTERS! So, without further ado:

•Piggy: Baby version of a Pig! Adoptable with 1 Meaty Stew and 1 Pig Skin. It would produce Manure when fed, and it would also be able to help with cutting down trees and mining rocks!

•Fawnlet: Baby version of a No Eyed Deer! Adoptable with a Deer Antler and Ice Cream! Not sure what it would do yet, but open to suggestions!

•Beefyloo: Baby version of a Beefalo! Adoptable with a Beefalo Hat and Ratatouille! Like actual Beefalo, it would periodically produce Manure and could be shaved for Beefalo Wool. It would let the player go near Beefalo in heat. It could only be fed vegetables.

•Goatlet: Baby version of a Volt Goat! Adoptable with a Volt Goat Horn and Electric Milk. Its horn can be “trimmed” with a razor when it’s sleeping every 20 Days for a Volt Goat Horn. It could also be milked periodically for Electric Milk.

•Tadpole: Baby version of a Frog! Adoptable with a Froggle Bunwich and Fishing Rod! Once again, not sure what it would do, but open to suggestions!

•Tusky: Baby version of a Mactusk! (Even younger and cuter than Wee Mactusk!) Adoptable with a Walrus Tusk and Monster Jerky! Lets you go near Walruses without being attacked! Also grows Walrus Tusks which can be trimmed every 25 Days! Having it adopted allowes a Tam’ O’ Shanter to be crafted at a Walrus Camp for 12 Silk and a Walrus Tusk.

•Penglet: Baby version of a Pengull! Adoptable with Bacon and Eggs and an Ice Cube! It would allow collecting of eggs frog Pengulls uninterrupted, and it would periodically shed Jet Feathers and lay eggs!

•Mermling: Baby version of a Merm! Adoptable with Fish Tacos and Rot! It would allow going near Merms without being attacked, and would fight Tentacles and Frogs, but nothing else. It could also fish!

•Spideling: Baby version of a Spider! Adoptable with Spider Eggs and Meatballs! Would allow nearing Spiders without being attacked! It could be shaved every 2 Days for 3 silk!

•Shade: Baby version of a (Drumroll please!) Crawling Horror! Adoptable, only by Maxwell, with a Codex Umbra and Flower Salad. It could be shaved every 4 Days for Nightmare Fuel but produces a small insanity aura, -1/Minute, to be exact.

•Rocky: Baby version of a Rock Lobster! Adoptable with 1 Cut Stone and Wet Goop. It could help in mining rocks, could only be fed Rocks, Flint, Gold, and Nitre. It could be shaved every 2 Days for 2 Flint and 2 Rocks!

•Geckling: Baby Version of a Grass Gecko! Adoptable with 1 Rope and a Fistful of Jam! It would allow nearing of Grass Geckos without them running and could be shaved every 2 Days for 3 Grass!

That’s all I’ve got for now, feel free to suggest and tweaking or extra critters!
